POSITIVE - clever - observant - calculating - realistic - daring - carefree - limitless - independent - confident Elaboration: when it comes to reed, it's either his way or the highway. he knows how to get what he wants and more often than not it means using slippery means of getting away from trouble or going out with a bang. he's a criminal in the basic sense of the word, but damn if he doesn't have any fun. he doesn't worry over the little things (or the big things either) and fancies himself unstoppable in most of his ventures. | LIKES - stars - stealing - red things - blood - breaking hearts - toying with people - running - fire - blood-letting DISLIKES - the law - dogs - stagnation - rain - thunderstorms - lightning - guns - sweets | NEGATIVE - kleptomaniac - pyromaniac - criminal - backstabber - deceitful - immoral - apathetic - materialistic - vain - loose cannon - unconcerned / lacking in introspection Elaboration: reed can't keep his hands to himself. literally. if there's something he wants, it's going to end up in his hands. he likes stirring up trouble and doesn't mind tearing people down in his way to do so. he has little regard for anyone unless they're useful to him in some way. he likes manipulating people and using them for his own gain so friendship is usually the last thing on his mind. honestly, what he really need is a strong hand to slap him into place. he's just a punk who thinks he owns the world. nobody's ever tried (and/or) been strong enough to stop him before. |

Reed has the life history many werewolves dream of. He was born to two pragmatic, gentle parents who have mostly led reasonably unperturbed and peaceful lives. He was born into a pack of loyal wolves (with a superiority complex, but hey, no one's perfect) that taught him how to hunt and track, live among humans and control his Change. His parents were kind and generous and tried to teach him to see the world through their eyes, and for the most part he did, until something happened to him. Or not him. His pack. Broken apart and scattered because of something he did. He doesn't like to talk about it. He can't talk about it. He managed to get one of his pack members killed in an 'accident' involving some human blood, traces of wolven fur, and a dead vampire.
Something precious snapped in Reed and he began to detest the very nature of himself and his skin. He lost his grip on reality when he went through his first Change--the bottled up traumatic events of what happened came out in an explosion of teeth and claw and malice. With the pack struggling to get by due to Reed's accident, they banished him.
His father left with him, but the boy lost all affinity for control. Became a loose cannon: constantly tested boundaries, blatantly disregarded rules, caused (in)direct harm to anyone who tried to get close to him. He was like a rabid animal and despite his father's attempts to break through to him, it was in vain. Reed made himself the cause of a car crash and left his father for dead at the wheel. He's had absolutely no drive to seek out another pack or companion (yet his instincts draw him towards packs in the area) so he's been wandering since.
