The fair folk in New York are fallen--disgraced shadows of what they once were, and forced to live in the very bowels of this great city. But they make do, as they always have, and their emigration to New York's underground prompted the construction of a great subterranean city.
The Aramoor Labyrinth is a series of magically carved tunnels connected by fallout bunkers built during the World Wars. What was once a series of utilitarian concrete underpasses is now a forbidding tangle that only the fair folk can navigate.
Most humans avoid Aramoor, but other downworlders frequently do business in the upper reaches of the labyrinth. As such, the Market (or Seelie Court) spills into the beginning of Aramoor.

The humans lewdly prefer to call it the "Seelie Court," a play on a mall food court. The fair folk begrudgingly let the remarks slide, as the Market is what allows them to sustain their life in New York's underground. The Market is essentially a trading ground for illegal items--the fair folk sell charms, tomes, whatever they can get their hands on and then pass unto whatever hands are willing to pay the most coin. It's a dangerous place filled with thugs and criminals, and is heavily monitored by fair folk guards.

The Underground
In New York, a city is not always just a city. Sometimes, it's two cities. But while one is vibrant and full of life and its inhabitants are mostly welcoming (in their own, angry way), the other is a cesspit of century-old anger that has festered since the city's founding.
While the citizens of this city clash in the Above, the fair folk who make their home in the Underground have banded together through desperation and an anguished shared history. Oh, there's plenty of internecine conflict to be had, but Abandon All Hope, Ye Who Enter Here, because the fair folk know only one true enemy, and they are you. The Blighters
