Welcome to Parcae Nervi! We are the Strings of Fate, a sandbox RP set in an alternate universe much like our own. Here you will have the opportunity to explore countless of stories--from the mundane to the magical--with our wide range of locations, characters, and plots.

This is the turn of a new age as technology sees tremendous advances and the eldritch community of earth struggles to adapt. In New York graffiti can hex as well as charm you and all manner of supernatural creatures roam the streets once the sun has set. In rural Kentucky a pack of werewolves monitors its territory with high-tech communication hubs and deep in the heart of Paris gargoyles nest in ancient architecture and highrise apartment buildings alike.

But all this is the calm before the storm and a facade that's slowly cracking as the supernatural struggles with reconciling tradition and innovation, and as the mundane world begins to feel the threat of what that combination could be it it were to succeed.

The law is a quagmire for any claiming magical heritage and often the strong arm of the law favours the ungifted before the gifted. Beauty corporations have shifted testing from rabbits and dogs to jackalopes and hellhounds and bounty hunters can make their fortune hunting cryptids.

But the reality is: no one is safe.

The Witching Hour

You'd think the name of the club would be enough to be on the cops' radar, but The Witching Hour is a very hush-hush, well-kept secret. After all, how would magic business get done in tech-savvy Manhattan? Only VIPs are allowed to know its location (as it's always moving around vacant lots when no one's watching) and it's one of the most exhilarating experiences one can ever hope to have. Acrobats twirl and spin on ribbons fifty feet in the air; prismatic lights spin over the dance floor in colors that you swear you've never seen before; the dance floor pulses with different scenery and one moment you might be dancing on the Milky Way, the next at the bottom of the ocean. The club thrums with pure magic and pure energy, and boy is it a thrill.
