At the base of the Appalachian Mountains are hidden entrances, caves that stretch deep into the heart of the mountain range. Fair Folk sentries guard the entrances and exits and only under certain permissions are outsiders allowed inside. The tunnels wind towards a center: Dokael City, the capital of the Unseelie Court.

Boone National Forest is where the boundaries between Unseelie and werewolf begin to fade and an uneasy truce has taken root. Werewolves live close to their family enclaves and the Unseelie keep to the untouched wilds that humans have not yet encroached.

Despite the discord between the fae and wolven, humans still enjoy camping in Boone National Forest and have (much to the disgust of the Unseelie) have cleared away a number of campsites. However, visitors know to respect the forest, lest the Unseelie Court turns its eyes on them.

Most campers come to Boone to enjoy the clean magic the Unseelie provide. Camping in Boone has been known to cleanse the spirit and revitalize magic.

Board Description
Appalachian Mountains
At the eastern edge of Kentucky runs the Appalachian mountain range. Early colonists attempted to tame the wild landscape and failed, leaving the land free for the fair folk that followed them from the Old World. The influence of fae magic has caused the Appalachians to become an overgrown and savage place.

Here the Unseelie Court still reigns and as a result travellers are not welcomed into the upper reaches of the mountains. Most choose to traverse the passes protected by werewolf clans, leaving the fae to their own business.
