POSITIVE - quiet - appreciative - big heart - mindful - curious Elaboration: Lou cares more about things than he lets on. He tends to prefer sticking to the background and admiring things from afar. Confrontation is obviously not one of his strong suits; the man would sit in an uncomfortable situation rather than speak up about his predicament. It's really tough for him to share his feelings, too, but because of this he's a great person to go to when needing to vent about something. He'll sit there and listen and awkwardly throw an arm around your shoulder to say, Uh, it's okay. | LIKES - snow - ice sculptures - parakeets - cold winter nights - steam - folk tales - oversized sweaters - music - dogs - people-watching DISLIKES - swimming - hot climates - humidity - shorts - gum - cats - goldfish | NEGATIVE - judgmental - cold - detached - standoffish - aloof - awkward Elaboration: Lou's a bit of a social pariah, but it's not because he doesn't like being around people. He just never knows the right words to say to keep them around. It's quite a struggle for him to keep a conversation going and because of this, he can come off as really cold and detached. Words aren't really his thing; he'll try to make you an ice sculpture to tell you how he feels before he'll actually say any words out loud. Sometimes being around people is taxing on his psyche because he feels like he's failing their expectations of him. Normal people know how to hold a conversation. Normal people can say witty remarks without stammering. So generally Lou likes to keep to himself unless someone willingly talks to him first. |
