When Damon and Bonnie returned from the dead, Bonnie had also brought back a socio-path: Kai Parker, and in doing so, ripped open a hole, for all those Supernatural that are killed to find, and return back to life. A loop hole. They were unaware of what was occurring when they were seeing familiar, dead faces yet again.
After merging and killing Luke, Kai was more than powerful, and the group went to him for help. Of course, Kai wanted something in return, and that was Olivia and Josette. In order to get him to go along with the plan, they agreed, thus causing him to attempt to close the loophole, which failed. He still demanded what was owed to him.
Of course, Damon disagreed, and that infuriated, so Kai gave them the next big thing to get rid of their little walking dead problem. He performed a spell. One that would plague the town of Mystic Falls after 24 hours. This plague insured that if any supernatural was still, and stepped inside the town, they would be stripped of their powers, and would suffer an incurable illness, which would kill them.
Kai had driven the gang out of the town. All supernatural fled, and went their separate ways. The group of MF landing in New Orleans. The home of a very familiar family and foes. They could quite quickly become allies or enemies.
Sides will be taken, friendships and bonds will be broken. A new war is breaking out. Who will you choose?
